Mavrix Build Co. LLC is committed to making mavrix-build-co.pages.dev accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

Semantic HTML landmarks, headings and lists so screen readers can navigate the page structure
Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt attributes on decorative ones
A visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element
A “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page
Full keyboard operability, including the navigation dropdown, mobile menu, FAQ accordions and image lightbox
Colour contrast that meets or exceeds the AA threshold for text and interactive elements
Respect for the operating system “reduce motion” setting, which disables all animation
Text that scales without loss of content or function when zoomed to 200 percent
Form fields with programmatically associated labels and clear error indication
Touch targets sized to at least 44 by 44 pixels on mobile

Known limitations

We are honest about where the site still falls short:

The embedded map is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible to all assistive technologies. The full office address is always provided as text next to the map.
Some older project photographs contain text or signage within the image that is not described in the alt attribute.
PDF documents, where offered, may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We will provide the content in an accessible format on request.

Assistive technology support

This site is designed to work with current versions of NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver, and with keyboard-only navigation in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Accessibility in our construction work

Accessibility is not only a website concern. We build to ADA standards where required, install accessible routes, ramps, grab bars, curbless showers and compliant doorway widths, and we are happy to discuss aging-in-place and universal design modifications on any remodeling project.
