About The Role

Concrete Finisher at Mavrix Build Co.

Our concrete division places over 100,000 square feet a year, from driveways and patios to engineered foundations. We are looking for finishers who understand that the finish starts with the subgrade, not with the trowel.

What you will do

  • Set and strip forms for flatwork, footings and foundation walls
  • Place, screed, float and finish concrete to specified tolerances
  • Cut control joints to depth at the correct time window
  • Apply curing compound and protective measures to finished work
  • Install and verify reinforcement and vapor barriers
  • Maintain form inventory and equipment in working condition

What we require

  • Three or more years of concrete finishing experience
  • Working knowledge of finishing techniques including broom, float and stamped
  • Ability to work extended hours during pour days
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and work in all weather conditions
  • ACI Flatwork Technician certification preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience with decorative concrete and integral color
  • Laser screed or power screed operation
  • Class B commercial driver’s license
